Tom Helgeson is an original member of the Deadly Writers Patrol. He was born and raised in Independence,WI,and served as an infantryman in Vietnam from 12/67-12/68 with the 11th Light Infantry Brigade of the Americal Division. Tom lives in Madison,WI,with his wife (Kris) of 40 years. He is a retired Disability Examiner who enjoys communing with Mother Nature in his part-time job as a Steward for the Lakeshore Nature Preserve.
